Pro Shop Closed: The Pro Shop will
be closed from August 15 to August 22 while staff are away at
The National Figure Skating Championships in Queensland. Cole
will be available on Saturday August 16 from 2:00pm - 7:00pm.
09/08/2008 WAIHA 2008 Ice Hockey:
WAIHA 2008 season hockey games will be continuing on Sundays from
4:00pm - 11:00pm and on Thursdays from 8:00pm - 10:45pm until
the Grand Final games, which will take place on November 2.

Polar Bear Fundraiser: The Polar
Bear fundraiser was a great success and we raised over $2000 for
the bears! A big thank you to everyone who attended, dressed up
and donated. You made the day special - due to your generosity
there is enough money to buy harnesses and radio transmitters
to track them.

Functions: If you are looking for
something different for your Christmas function or end of year
celebration, please contact
Calandra. The whole rink can be hired during November
and December on a Sunday afternoon from 4:00pm onwards. Other
days may be available upon enquiry. We can cater for numerous
events and activities, including bucks nights, hockey scrimmaging,
Christmas parties, including Santa visits on ice, snowman building,
snow fights and the like.

General
Information
Our ice surface is 60m x 30m, making Cockburn Ice Arena the only
full sized rink in Perth! Our sessions are split between general
public skating sessions and private sports training sessions.
To avoid disappointment
please check our timetable before coming to skate.
We are in a light industrial sub division in Bibra Lake. We are
about 12 minutes from Fremantle and 5 minutes to the Kwinana Freeway.
Public transport services adjacent roads, please check the relevant
bus timetables.
Facilities

Cafeteria | Our
cafe seats approximately 80 persons in comfort. We
serve the usual snacks and drinks as well as some 'warming' foods
such as hot dogs, pies, sausage rolls, pasties, hot chips and toasted
sandwiches. We also make the best hot chocolate, coffee and cappucinos.
| Change Rooms | We have two change
rooms with showers available for hire.

First Aid |
We have a fully
stocked First Aid room and always have a staff member rostered on
with a current Senior First Aid certificate.

Car Park |
We have a large
car park which can handle buses 'off street' parking. We also have
disabled bays with easy access to the rink.

Skate Sharpening Service |
We can sharpen all
skates to your specifications, whether they are figure skates or
hockey skates, stainless steel or mild steel.
