for players aged 12+
Ice Hockey programs for players aged 12+ are structured incrementally, with 2 major programs aimed at progressing the player to be a team ready hockey machine!
Skate the Game: aimed at beginners, this 6 level program focuses on skating skills, the foundation of any good hockey player. Minimum Requirement: completiion of NOVICE 1 in Learn to Skate.
Play the Game 1 & 2: Following on from Skate the Game, this program introduces passing, shooting and puck handling, as well as small area games.

1. LEARN TO SKATE
The very first step in your ice hockey journey is learning how to ice skate. A pass in NOVICE 1 here needs to be obtained before moving onto Skate the Game.

REQUIREMENTS
Must have passed NOVICE 1 in Learn to Skate.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
The following is compulsory for Skate the Game:
- hockey skates
- stick
- shin guards
- helmet
- knitted gloves or hockey gloves
- neck guard (under 18)
WHAT’S INCLUDED
- 10 x 60 minute weekly lessons
- admission to the rink
- free entry to the Stick ‘n’ Puck session
on Thursdays at 3:45pm for the entire term - unlimited access to general sessions
for the entire term
LESSON DAYS
Choose one day from the following:
Monday 5:45pm – 6:45pm
Saturday 1:45pm – 2:45pm
