Cockburn Ice Arena - Perth's Only Twin Rink Ice Arena!

ABOUT US

Cockburn Ice Arena is Perth’s newest and largest ice skating facility. Overlooking scenic Bibra Lake, it has become the latest addition to Progress Drive’s recreational precinct.

GENERAL ICE SKATING RINK

This is our Olympic sized (60m x 30m) ice rink where general ice skating sessions are run (a great school holiday or weekend activity for Perth kids and families), as well as some ice sports training and curling. Check our session timetable here.

FROSTBITE CAFE

Frostbite Café overlooks Rink 1 and serves fresh hot and cold food, drinks, confectionery, cakes & slices, sandwiches and wraps (made daily). This is the café for general session skaters, and has a rubber floor so skates can be worn. Frostbite Cafe is open to passers by as well as skaters and spectators.

MYSKATE PRO SHOP

Our proshop, mySKATE, is the biggest in Western Australia, stocking the largest range of ice hockey, inline and figure skating gear at competitive prices. Skate repairs and pro sharpening services are available here. mySKATE is adjacent to reception in Rink 1. Check out the mySKATE website.

DANCE STUDIO

Rink 1 also houses a 150m² dance studio with sprung flooring, full length mirrors and a 10m ballet barre. The space can be used for various styles of dance (we currently run ballet classes) as well as yoga, Pilates and stretch classes. It is also an ideal space for functions. Enquire…

ICE SPORTS RINK

Ice hockey is played in Rink 2 all year round, and games are usually on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. Spectators are free for all league hockey games. Figure skating and ice hockey training also take place here. Our hockey rink measures 60m x 28m.

Our fully licensed restaurant, Cabin 401 Bar & Grill, specialises in Aussie American style cuisine, including house smoked barbecue.
