LEARN TO SKATE LEVELS

What you will learn in ice skating lessons

Our ice skating program, Learn to Skate, is the place to start your journey on the ice. In each level you’ll learn new skills, progressing from basic moves to more advanced use of edges, power and speed. This program sets you up to achieve your ice skating goals!

Take a look at what you’ll learn in each level!

Why you should skate a few times a week

Practise makes perfect! If you only visit the rink for your weekly ice skating lesson, a whole week passes before you get back onto the ice, and you may not pick up exactly where you left off.

If you skate once more each week, you have a chance to work on the things you have learned from your coach, and  you may progress more quickly!

Learn to Skate and Ice Hockey Academy both come with unlimited access to ice skating sessions for the term, and this is something all skaters should take advantage of!

What is your ice skating goal?

Our Learn to Skate program is the first step to achieve your skating goal, whether it’s being on an ice hockey team, competitive figure skating or being part of a synchro squad.

Here’s where ice skating can take you, and what you need to learn in order to get involved!
