Raise money for your school, club or association and have fun while doing it! Cockburn Ice Arena offers a unique, hassle-free fundraising package, tailored to suit everyone’s needs.
How does an ice skating fundraising event work?
1. CHOOSE A FUNDRAISER TYPE
A set session, time and date
Hold your fundraising ice skating session on a specific date and time.
OR
Open tickets with a one year expiry
Sell tickets with a one year expiry that can be used for any general session. Tickets are available for purchase for 6 weeks, and the ticket holder can redeem the ticket at any general session during the next 12 months.
2. SELL TICKETS
Upon review and signing of our Fundraising Contract, we create an online ticket portal to your fundraising event. You spread the word and sell as many tickets as you can!
Tickets for fundraising are priced at $22, and you get to keep a whopping $11!
3. COME ICE SKATING & HAVE FUN!
This is the FUN part about fundraising with us! Everyone gets to go ice skating!
If you chose a set session for your event, everyone comes and enjoys the event together on the chosen day and time. If you chose open tickets with a one year expiry, ticket holders have 12 months to use their ticket for any timetabled general session.
4. RECEIVE RAISED FUNDS
If you chose a set session for your event, we will deposit the funds raised into your account after the event.
If you chose open tickets with a one year expiry, we will deposit the funds raised into your account after the ticket portal has been closed (6 weeks).
Public session or private session?
Free discount passes for next time!
Fundraising groups have the option of holding their event during either a general session or a private session.
GENERAL SESSIONS
General sessions, or public sessions are timetabled sessions open to everybody, including the general public. The maximum number of guests you can have attending your fundraising event in a general session is 300.
PRIVATE SESSIONS
Depending on your numbers, we can potentially arrange for you to hold your event in a private session. This type of session is closed to the public, and you will have control over music, games and activities.
The minimum number of skaters in a private session is 180, the maximum 600. You can still book a private session for less than 180, but payment must be for 180 skaters.
Private ice time is usually available from 5pm – 7pm on Saturdays and other sessions may be available upon request.
