Cockburn Spring Hockey Camp 15U

6 – 9 October 2021

Do you want to improve your child’s hockey technique? Do you want to take their game to the next level? Join us these school holidays as we focus on improving the technical side of their hockey game.

Open to

Skaters aged 12 to 15, who are either:

• Club level players and goalies from any club
• Cockburn Ice Hockey Academy players in Play the Game 1 or higher

Dates & Times

15U: 12-15 years old

• 9:30am – 3pm from 6 October to 8 October 2021
• 12:45pm – 3:30pm Saturday 9th of October

11U: 8-11 years old

Schedule

Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 9:30am – 3pm

• 9:30am – 11am: Skill session (arrive by 9am to get gear on)
• 11:15am – 1:15pm: Lunch break and off ice training
• 1:30pm – 11am: More skills and drills, ending with small area games that will be fun and competitive, while including skills practiced that session.

Saturday 12:45pm – 3:30pm

• Players will be split into 4 teams
• Full ice games will be played to put the skills taught into practice
• Jersesy will be prodvided for these games

Coaches

Your coaches have performed at state level, and world level – they are a great pair that have a passion for seeing players improve while having fun!

Requirements

• Full gear required
• All players need to bring a packed lunch daily
• Bring dryland clothes for some sessions in the park and dance studio
• Children will be supervised the whole time, so they can be dropped off by parents
• Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: Drop off by 9am at the hockey rink to be ready for on ice training at 9:30am, and collect 3:15pm – 3:30pm.
