Javier Fernandez Figure Skating Camp
Come and join us for the after-Swan Figure Skating camp and workshops featuring Javier Fernandez with Jonathan Guerreiro from Thursday 2 October to Sunday 5 October, 2025.
Javier is no stranger to presenting great camps for emerging skaters. He is fresh off ‘Art of Skating’ in Europe and together with Jonathan, has presented camps in North America, Europe and Australia. This is the first time in Perth, Western Australia.
Sessions will include jumps, spins, skating skills, performance and choreography. Each day will have an off ice component in ballet and flexibility with Zamira Ketechieva (Rhythmic Gymnastics and Ballet USSR).
Skaters will also have a virtual education session with Emilia Ahsan, Accredited Sports Dietitian and Australian representative at numerous World Junior Championships.
There will also be a special jump intensive workshop on Saturday 4 October. Sessions will be allocated to skating level and ability.
We have also catered for our Adult Skaters with workshops on Saturday 4 October and Sunday 4 October.
Coaches are permitted provided they register. They must support the camp and have a student/s register. Please note: the jump intensive is a closed session for students only.

A little bit about our presenters…
Javier is the 2018 Olympic bronze medallist, a two-time World champion (2015, 2016), a two-time World bronze medallist (2013, 2014), a seven-time European champion (2013–2019), a two-time Grand Prix Final silver medallist (2014, 2015), a three-time Rostelecom Cup champion (2014–2016), a two-time Grand Prix in France champion (2016–2017) and an eight-time Spanish national champion (2010, 2012–2018).In addition to his bronze medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics, Javier placed 14th at the 2010 Winter Olympics and 4th at the 2014 Winter Olympics.
Jonathan is the 2018 NHK Trophy silver medallist, the 2018 Skate America bronze medallist, and a three-time Russian national medallist (2021 silver; 2018, 2020 bronze). He and partner Tiffany Zahorski placed thirteenth at the 2018 Winter Olympics. Later they placed eighth at the 2018 World Championships. Earlier in Jonathan’s career, he won medals at two World Junior Championships — bronze in 2009 with Ekaterina Riazanova and silver in 2011 with Ekaterina Pushkash.
