Our pre-season shooting clinic is the perfect chance to calibrate your shooting skills before the WA season begins! Led by coach JFK, the clinic will run for two weeks on Sunday the 11th and 18th of February, and is for club level and House League players only.
Goalies are free!
Groups
Club level, House League, and Ice Hockey Academy Play the Game 2 players in the following age categories: 12-17, and 18+
Dates & times
12-17 (2 weeks): Sundays from 10am-11:15am on 11 and 18 Feb.
18+ (2 weeks): Sundays from 11:30am-12:45pm on 11 and 18 Feb.
What we’ll be covering
- How to get more power, accuracy and deception with your shot.
- We will break down the mechanics of the shot, and eliminate conventional wisdom of how to shoot, so players can build proper habits.
- Skaters will learn how to shoot in stride and hide their shot release to catch the goalie by surprise.
- We’ll cover wrist shots, backhand, slap shots, tipping, and anything else to put the puck in the net.
Years of shooting analysis and training have been put together to make these sessions a must for anyone looking to score more goals or create more scoring opportunities.
In the event of a participant being unable to attend due to COVID-19, credits or refunds will be applied.
